We do not ship what we have not measured.
Gauge is checked on the line, colour along the reel, strength by sampling. Records are filed against the order number and can be retrieved years later.
Quality here is not a separate department but part of the line. Measurement happens without stopping production, and material outside tolerance is pulled at that moment — so a fault is caught before it reaches a pallet.
The six checks below run on every order. Each result is recorded against the batch, and we can produce that record whenever a customer asks for it.
- Incoming material
- Every incoming resin batch is sampled. Moisture and melt flow are measured and the result is recorded.
- In-line gauge
- Gauge is monitored throughout the run. Material outside tolerance is removed from the line and never ships.
- Colour consistency
- The approved proof is compared against production print along the length of the reel.
- Strength testing
- Reinforced bags are loaded and hung. If a sample fails, the batch does not leave the plant.
- Traceability
- Every pallet carries its production date and line number, linked back to the order record.
- Food contact
- For food-contact work, inks and resins pass a separate approval step.
Certification
We share our current certification status on request. For food-contact packaging, declarations of compliance for the resins and inks used are attached to the order file. Send us the list of documents your audit requires and we will tell you plainly which ones we can supply and which we cannot.
Complaints and returns
If there is a problem with a batch we ask for a sample first and trace the line and date from the pallet label. Where the fault is ours we reproduce the order or credit it. We also tell you the cause — without that, the same fault comes back.
